And you, John, might do well to recount Luke 7:28 “I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” Catholics lift up Mary to a status that is inappropriate and unsupported by the Word. John is considered by Jesus to be greater than Mary, as Mary was also born of men. Yet, here is a question for you – how is it that John says in reference to Jesus in John 1:27 that “It is He Who, coming after me, is preferred before me, the string of Whose sandal I am not worthy to unloose” when Jesus says that John was the greatest born of women? After all, wasn’t Jesus born from Mary, a woman? The answer is that Jesus is eternal – He has never had a beginning. He never took a beginning through birth from a woman. He only took a different form in coming to the earth according to the will of the Father and Mary, to her credit, was a willing vessel. However, Mary had a beginning. Further in Luke 1:47, Mary states “And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” The reason she says this is because she needs a Savior, her Son. Jesus, her son, is her Lord, God, and Savior. She needed her Son because she was a sinner with original sin in need of God’s grace. Thus, in answer to your suggestion that there might be a larger meaning in the verse you state above, the answer is clearly no. Mary is a sinner saved by grace, just as all are who place their faith and trust in Jesus the Messiah.

You can pray the rosary all you want, but also be reminded of what Jesus commands in Matthew 6:7 – “And when you pray, do not heap up phrases (multiply words, repeating the same ones over and over) as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard for their much speaking.” Praying the same prayer over and over doesn’t help, particularly if it is idolotry. In John 4:23, it is written “A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.” My hope is that you will come to distinguish between the truth enlightened by the Holy Spirit and the doctrines of men and choose to embrace the truth.

So true, it’s sickening. What hurts my heart even more are the clueless masses that follow and clearly DO NOT read the bible. The horrific outcome of these people involved with this perversion can be described in, what I believe, the most difficult and unnerving verse in the scripture “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? And then I will declare unto them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou, amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death amen. Christ is
the head of the Church, the people are the body of the Church and Mary is the nexxus or the neck thru which
God’s people must pass to bond with God. Tho she is not a god, she is by God’s request to be reveared NEXT to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Suffice to say it is a mystery as is the Holy Trinity is for example. The image of the Blessed Mother holding baby Jesus you compare with Isis and Horus, and Semiramis and Nimrod is disgusting. Satan has disquised himself as Mary to distract people away from Her and thus God. It is ashame the influence your blog is able to cause on people who read it. I don’t know where you got this information or how you came to believe it, but all of the world will go through more suffering because of it.

Funny, you left out this citation: When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home. John 19:26-27. Of course, I’m sure you take this in a purely literal manner — couldn’t possibly have any larger meaning, could it?
