As part of their undying penchant to seek to establish control, Jezebels like to flock around people of power, like bees to a honey pot. They love to butter up to people who are in positions of power and authority and who may be of use as tools to help further the expansion of her own power base.

Jezebels are attracted to people of power like “moths to flames”. Often, a very intelligent, efficient, attractive, and even blatant Jezebel can be found serving “at the feet” of prominent leaders, even in the church. The deception and/or seduction of the Jezebel is often so successful that the leader does not recognize who is at his right hand. The Jezebel’s true desire is to wrest the power from the person being served. Jezebel likes to appear close to leaders, and use their influence. She likes to use the power and influence of others to accomplish her goals and control her environment. In 1 Kings 21:8 we read ” Jezebel wrote letters in Ahab’s name and sealed them with his seal, and sent them to the elders and nobles of the city.” This is typical of Jezebel. Leaders are one of Jezebel’s prime targets because she needs control and influence to advance her devilish agenda. Jezebel relishes in power. “Give me, give me and give me.” You see, money is not really the issue, although she also wants the money. It is power and influence that she is really after. She likes to feel that you are her puppet and she pulls the strings. She draws her strength from controlling you. That’s why you feel spiritually drained after she battles with you. Jezebel is extremely power-hungry, respecting only power stronger than her own. She disdains or considers herself superior to anyone she perceives as having no power, or power less than hers. She works through her conquest to attain power over others. albatrus.org

Usurper of Genuine Religious Authority; Enemy of True Christians

As already alluded to in the treatment of the previous characteristic, Jezebel has a special interest in stealing and redirecting worship to herself that should instead belong to God, and God only. She relishes in pretending to be the vicar of Christ, in its most general meaning:
Jezebel uses her controlling influence to lead God’s people to worship a church system that is not led by His spirit. Instead of being the Bride of Christ, the church is turned into a harlot turning to other gods, and a harem, becoming many wives through denominational divisions. It is hard to resist once under her spell, she feels just like Jesus but it is a delusion. Those under the Jezebel spirit are given a false peace about the sin and confusion and the spirit of conviction does not take hold because they are given over to satan’s deception for the destruction of the flesh. Jezebel’s greatest enemy is true spiritual authority. As Jezebel opposed Elijah and Herodias opposed John the Baptist, so Jezebel today opposes righteous authority. In her heart, she despises all moral authority. jonhamilton.com
Jezebel’s aim is to silence God’s prophets because in doing so, it destroys the testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit of prophecy (Rev.19:10). Vassula Ryden

Jezebel was the greatest enemy of one of the Old Covenant’s most powerful prophets, Elijah, whose ministry especially represents preparing of the way for the Lord. This spirit especially attacks the prophetic ministry because that ministry has an important place in preparing the way of the Lord. The Jezebel spirit is actively opposing all who live a fervent Christian life. She will come against everyone who carries the voice of the Spirit of God, prophets and prophetic people alike, and those who are discerning and resisting the dark spiritual climates of their cities. Prophesying falsely herself, Jezebel thrives in deceitful spiritual authority – and she knows how to create, flow and operate in counterfeit manifestations of God’s Spirit and government. A Bible teacher is one who explains and expounds on the Word of God. Jezebel likes to draw people to herself so she can teach them her own perverted views, doctrines and Scriptural interpretation. I have watched those with the Jezebel spirit maintain a running commentary during the church service, explaining to her disciples her skewed interpretation of what the man of God is preaching. We are still dealing with this Babylonian spirit today. It is the spirit that takes captive the people of God. It is this spirit that caused the church to go into the bondage of Roman Catholicism for centuries. Note Revelation 17:9 – the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. It is a fact that Rome is built on seven hills. The same spirit which caused the Israelites to worship “the Queen of Heaven” mentioned in Jeremiah 44:17-19 and Jeremiah 7:18 is the one behind all the false mother/son religions that ever have been, including the Marian cult of the Roman Catholic Church. The clear battle with the Jezebel spirit is over people. In the church, that spirit desires to rule and control the people of God. If we are not people of decision, we will fall under the spell of the Jezebel spirit. She is a supporter of, and heavily influential in, religious organization as well as politics. Vassula Ryden
The Queen of Heaven/Jezebel/Mystery Babylon/Harlot Spirit is a very religious spirit, but it promotes religious things that are contrary to God. Jezebel promotes fleshly indulgence amongst God’s people and shuns the cross.The Jezebel spirit is the enemy of the true prophets of the Lord. The book of Revelation has a chapter almost exclusively devoted to exposing this spirit – Chapter 17. In this chapter we read that the woman is drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. (Revelation 17:6). Jezebels like to pose as God’s envoys, when they are not:
It is also quite common for someone with a Jezebel spirit to show up at someone’s house without notice, saying the Lord told him to go pray for a particular need. They feel compelled to pray over others, but this urge is not from God. Vassula Ryden
Francis Frangipane describes the likely effects of what happens if a Jezebel spirit takes possession of a member of the cloth:
…he will become very authoritarian and unyielding in his control of the church. Such a pastor will invariably be isolated from fellowship and accountability with other pastors. The man will find himself lured into maintaining flirtatious and sensual relationships, “special intimacies” with one or more women in the church. In time, he will most likely succumb to adultery. 19We love because he first loved us. 20If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. In order to hide the consequences of her ultimate selfish and self-serving behavior, Jezebels resort to pretense; smoke and mirrors if you will. Just as queen Jezebel resorted to piety to leave the impression that she was all about serving a higher and more noble purpose than her own being, Jezebels as a rule obfuscate that they love nothing more than to cater to her own reckless extensive egos, all the while leaving everybody else standing in the proverbial rain.
As is quintessentially practiced by the clergy of the Roman Catholic Church for example, Jezebels also may go to great lengths in feigning service to the community and God. Unfortunately however, they are merely keeping up appearances. Just as the Roman Church is primarily interested in maintaining and expanding Temporal Power, Jezebels too seek to expand their power and use mesmerizing pretense and deceit as cloaks to hide their ungodly pursuits behind.
Jezebels love to project a sense of power they do not have. It is based on fear and intimidation, in order to cloud the minds of those they desire to oppress.Steve Sampson (p 14)
When Jezebel painted her face to make herself more attractive it suggests a type of evil that is all made up to look attractive to those that are under her spell. The Jezebel spirit is a type of delusion that is given to the church so that they might not recognize the influence. It is interesting how similar Jezebel’s reactions are to those of Satan. When the devil tried to infiltrate into the writings in the beginning and I would discover him, his language suddenly from “divine” would become vulgar. Controllers are bound with a fear of rejection. Characteristically, their lives have to be perfect. Therefore, you may observe a strong preoccupation with looks, clothes, make-up, jewelry, cars and cleanliness. Bound with a fear of rejection, controllers cannot bear the thought of being seen in public as less than perfect. Jezebel fits the quintessential back stabber profile. She will smile at you, give you a big hug and kiss, and then turn around and let you have it when you’re not looking. Jezebel is one of the most vicious spirits you will ever encounter. Jonas Clark (p. 25)
I think Elvis Presley hit the hammer on the nail when he sang Devil in Disguise. Its lyrics sum up the diabolical pretense of the Jezebel spirit just nicely:

Prideful, Vain and Narcissistic

With a control-freakish demonic entity pretending to be God of course belongs a nicely fitting self-serving personality. On second thought, make that a personality disorder.
It is precisely the host’s pride and vanity that work to protect and defend the internal presence of a Jezebel spirit. The inability of the host, or captive if you will, to become humble and admit to having an unclean conscience, gives Jezebel a legitimate reason to stay inside. So, in order to tear down this demonic stronghold it is vital to be able to humble oneself, which is precisely the root problem addressed in this section:
Specifically, she hates repentance, humility and intercessory prayer, because they destroy her strongholds of stubbornness and pride. Steve Sampson (p. 13)
Where Jezebelian personality is concerned, at the core of the mental illness is a pride system that reinforces false or counterfeit religious beliefs and practices.[…]
Though people with predispositions to narcissistic personality disorder or the biblical counterpart of the Jezebelian trait are usually under the influence of demons, I have found that there is no demon that will respond to the name “Jezebel” for there is no such demon. Ironically, there is a demon called “Mother Mary,” and “Mary Magdelene” but there is no demon that will respond to “Jezebel.” The main demons involved with Jezebelian types are generally connected to witchcraft, religion, or both–known in the bible as “the spirit of the anti- Christ. Yet there are several other lesser demons : to name but a few, there is a lying spirit, a jealous spirit, a mean spirit, all connected to pride and vanity—those traits of the flesh that keep hinder people with the Jezebelian influence from repenting. Jezebels revile (despise and show no respect for) authority over her. Building on “dislike of authority” (especially of men since they are frequently the authority figure) coupled with rebellion, she hates anyone placed in authority over her (particularly men), and seeks to destroy them and take their power. Internally Jezebel worships herself even though externally she may portray a picture of humility and submission. She is very proud of herself and extremely vain, and in her pride can only talk about herself. They are usually very attractive and they use that to seduce their victims. albatrus.org
Jezebel demands worship from others (the “queen-bee” syndrome). She must have dominance and control in her home. Other family members exist just to please her. Jezebel requires “worship” from her family and followers … to be their “goddess”. albatrus.org
Jezebels frequently perceive themselves as intellectually and spiritually superior to others, and “talk down “ to others. This attitude is actually despising of others.The Jezebel Spirit absolutely hates and shuns Repentance and Humility.
Because the Jezebel spirit is prideful and rebellious, she hates repentance and humility. These are two mighty weapons, which can be used against her. This is also the key in discerning this spirit -a pride-filled rebellious person refusing to repent. albatrus.org

As is characteristic of an obsessively controlling personality, all of these character traits are based, through insecurity, on fear. I strongly suspect that pride, vanity and narcissism are all over-compensatory traits that try to make up for lack of enjoyment of love. I think that narcissism, or malignant self-love, since it is based on fear is not really love but rather it is an exaggerated reaction to a deeply rooted inability of the narcissist to love or receive love from their fellow human beings; something that I think is ultimately rooted in the (latent) perception of themselves, for whatever reason, of feeling unworthy of being loved.
Through the dominance of fear over love, people who display tendencies of pride, vanity and narcissism become very attractive to the demonic. Hence the vain and the demonic tend to be wedded quite snugly.
The same spirit that desired to destroy Elijah was clearly responsible for cutting off the head of John the Baptist. The spirit of Jezebel hates the prophet, because the prophetic voice demands repentance and surrendering of the self-will. The prophet calls people to the cross. Jezebel hates the cross. Denier of Guilt or Responsibility; Unrepentant

With a vain and prideful personality also comes a personality that consistently denies guilt or responsibility for wrongdoings. To Jezebels it is always the fault of the other guy or girl. They are too proud to admit to fault:
One major characteristic of a controller is that he has to be right. He has no tolerance for being wrong and will rarely, if ever, admit to wrongdoing. A Jezebel spirit is never wrong, unless it is a temporary admittance of guilt to gain “favour” with someone. When a Jezebel apologizes it is never in true repentance or acknowledgment of wrongdoing but rather, “I’m sorry your feelings were hurt.” Vassula Ryden
Defensiveness is a common reaction when a suggestion is made. This again is out of insecurity. Insecurity, which is deeply rooted, cannot take correction, because all correction is perceived as rejection. Therefore, you will never hear a person with a controlling spirit admit he is wrong. It is always the fault of someone else. Never is there confession of guilt, contrition or true remorse. The closest controllers come to apologizing is, “I’m sorry you misunderstood me.” Steve Sampson (p 59)
Sometimes Jezebel becomes temporarily remorseful, but soon she’ll go back to her controlling tactics. When it comes to prayer, she would be praying for her own agenda. There is no power in that. True, fervent intercessory prayer causes hearts to change from pride and loftiness to repentance and humility; nothing brings a greater death blow to the spirit of Jezebel. As is typical of a Jezebel, she would complain that she wasn’t appreciated enough. In her self-centered nature she would go to any lengths, by lying and exaggerating, to make herself look spiritual; after all when being self-centered, no one is as important as they are. Jezebel would state again and again that her decision was the result of much prayer. She knows how to garner sympathy by knowing how to cry at the drop of a hat and fool almost anyone. Vassula Ryden
Indeed Francis Frangipane emphasizes that Jezebel despises repentance:
Jezebel’s worst enemies are the prophets: her worst fear is that the people will embrace repentance. Jezebel hates repentance. Though this spirit will infiltrate the church, masking its desire for control with true Christian doctrines, it will hide from true repentance. Francis Frangipane (p. 14)
An interesting strategy of the Jezebel spirit is to play the victim, or martyr, rather than the perpetrator:
If you insist on an apology and confront the controller, you will probably get a screaming response such as, “Yes, I’m wrong. I’m always wrong.” Vassula Ryden
The reason for using such a manipulative tactic is to elicit a response of sympathy from the confronter. It is intended to make you feel sorry for her, more so than she deserves of course, so as to make you ameliorate the severity of the confrontation; or to even cancel it altogether. Therefore do not be fooled, this is all part of her cunning manipulation arsenal, witchcraft trickery.
Steve Sampson sums up Jezebel’s unflinchingly irresponsible and self-absorbed character quite nicely:
Basically, the spirit of Jezebel has no conscience. Those under its control have hardened their hearts, and their consciences are seared. Their will is king, and they are supreme. Steve Sampson (p 16)
When a controller is confronted, he commonly spiritualizes the situation, explaining it off on God. This prevents him from owning up to responsibility required of him. The implication is always, “You’ve got a problem; I don’t.”Steve Sampson (p. 65)
14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.James 3:14-17
Jealous

Jealousy is the emotion that belongs to a desire to have something someone else has that you don’t have and for which you assume that you are not (fully) entitled of having it yourself. As a consequence, jealousy generates a feeling that urges you to not approve of others having it too. The mindset of a jealous person is: “If I cannot have it, then neither can you.”
With a supremely usurping and bitchy character that belongs to Jezebel, you can bet your bottom dollar that deep down inside she realizes full well that she has forfeited every right to have what she wants. The color of her conscience is not unlike that of her spoiled rotten character. Therefore, she simply resorts to brute force in trying to obtain what she wants. Again, ultimately her actions are grounded in fear. She acts like the little reject because she knows no love (after all she’s a demon). With the mindset of not feeling worthy herself, she seeks to deny worthiness in others too. By feeding on this notion, she unwittingly makes sure that indeed she spirals into an ever more pronounced state of unworthiness. She herself works to fulfill her own prophecy of unworthiness that can only be resolved by true and sincere repentance to God.
She cannot suffer other getting attention over herself and she will do all she can to prevent others receiving attention and recognition. If one gets between Jezebel and the person she is trying to control, she’ll attack most viciously, trying her best to destroy that relationship with that person. She will try and destroy his reputation, undermine his authority and generally stop at nothing to separate anyone from her intended “victim”. Beware! albatrus.org
As the popular saying goes, “if you have found something you love, release it and let it go. If it comes back to you, it was meant for you.” The Jezebel spirit would add, “If it does not, hunt it down and kill it.”Steve Sampson (p. 49)
To even contemplate a thing as forgiveness is totally out of the question for Jezebel as it requires a foundation of compassionate love. With demons there simply is no love, only fear. So Jezebels hold on to their grudges for dear life until it has consumed their beings so thoroughly, that it has shaped them into bitter old hags, both physically and spiritually:
Bitterness and resentment against past hurts and offences are nurtured in the victim by the Jezebel spirit, because she knows a root of bitterness will grow like a cancer and manifest itself in all sorts of physical ailments, which she can use as tools of manipulation, as noted above. Of course, this cancer of bitterness also slowly destroying the victim. In many cases, the countenance of the victim gradually grows more and more unattractive, and in the end, victims controlled by the Jezebel spirit may resemble the very witch like crones often used to symbolize witchcraft -where this spirit is birthed. The victim rots from the inside out, physically and spiritually, and it shows. People eventually find Jezebel’s “Spiritual ugliness” very repulsive. albatrus.org
Warlike and Vicious

As you may have guessed by now, if you haven’t already, a Jezebel spirit does not exactly kid around. Jezebels are very aggressive and warlike, will not give up without a fight and if they are forced out of the picture they will try and have their revenge by stabbing you in the back. Let me make that statement a little more general. They will stab you in the back, period. As long as they think it is in their interest, they are not hampered by a remorseful and objectionable conscience in proceeding to steamroll over you. In fact, they routinely do:
Jezebel is like a shark; she is most vicious and dangerous. She circles the lives of others looking for teachable, seducible, controllable, “disciples” of her own. Jezebel likes to birth spiritual children of her own as she looks for disciples to eat from her own table. She will look for those that are in rebellion, who are weak, wounded, or those who are contending, bucking, and fighting any established spiritual authority. albatrus.org
Jezebel displays angry, vicious and sometimes violent behaviour when opposed. She will turn on the one who refuses to do her will or submit to her (especially if she has been successful in manipulating this person in the past), frequently with a vicious, berating verbal attack aimed at humiliation. The emotional damage caused by these outbreaks can be devastating to the one at whom she directs her wrath. This is often the source of terrible emotional wounds for her children and spouse. When this angry behaviour happens in public, it often exposes the true spirit in operation to others who may have been previously deceived. Watch for it. albatrus.org

A master of criticism, murmuring and complaining, captives will believe that their stand is righteous. With callous disregard for the well-being and independence of others, these captives have been convinced by eductive demons that others who disagree with the captive deserve to be cursed. The Jezebel personality type will send demons of fear and discouragement against any perceived enemies. The below quotes could have just as easily fitted as a corollary to the “Warlike and Vicious” characteristic but I wanted to place them in a separate category so as to illustrate the special interest Jezebels have in regard to men and male authority. Unfortunately it is not a benign interest as she likes nothing better than to emasculate and destroy men:
Jezebel hates men and majors in destroying them. She cannot have a true Godly relationship with men; because her desire is to strip them of all their perceived power and then destroy them, to emasculate them emotionally and spiritually. albatrus.org
This spirit, in full maturity, is in total rebellion against God, and it tries to turn everything into the opposite of what God intended. The spirit so resents men that it ultimately identifies God as the source of putting men “over” women. Basically, it hates all order that God has set up in life. In its full expression, it tries to make men into women. Remember that Jezebel surrounded herself with eunuchs. It tries to make men into homosexuals. It seeks to turn men into women – the hair, the clothes, the lack of masculinity, the effeminate voice and so forth. Steve Sampson
With the desire to reject the “bondage” that society has put on them, women can take on man’s curse. Feminists, wanting to be like men, end up putting themselves under the “sweat of the brow” and living under pressure never meant for them. They end up living under stress and strain and even under a responsibility that God doesn’t require of them.This in turn happens to men. Rejecting the “curse” of their responsibilities, they surrender their masculinity, desiring to live in a female-oriented world, taking on feminine traits, living without the fulfillment God intended for them.Steve Sampson (p. 60)
When we speak of Jezebel, we are identifying the source in our society of obsessive sensuality, unbridled witchcraft, and hatred for male authority. Francis Frangipane (p. 8 )
A little further on in his book, Frangipane makes a most interesting observation:
Look for Jezebel to target women who are embittered against men, either through neglect or misuse of authority. This spirit operates through women who, because of insecurity, jealousy, or vanity, desire to dominate others. Jezebel is there behind the woman who publicly humiliates her husband with her tongue, and thereafter controls him by his fear of public embarrassment. Francis Frangipane (p. 9)
The Jezebel spirit exploits the offenses a woman may have received from ungodly men, forcing the woman to utilize manipulation, sensuality, and intimidation to make her way through life. Yet, it drives the woman beyond mere survival, developing her more intuitive nature until, whether she realizes it or not, the techniques she applies to personal relationships are akin to principles of witchcraft.The entry of this spirit into the woman’s life is full of irony. The woman, in her rebellion from the harsh, unloving demands of corrupted male authority, finds shelter and strength in becoming like her oppressor. She herself becomes harsh and unloving. Thus, the very thing she hated in men, she has now become. Francis Frangipane (p 41-42)
I can say from my own experience that Jezebel indeed sought to destroy me when I carried her in me. Although she did not typically manifest to great extent, as the chief demon I am convinced that she oversaw bringing about my destruction. To soften-up the target, for sake of using military jargon, I was first made sick with Candida-like symptoms and thus put in a constant state of misery and driven into social isolation by making sure I resented being around people for too long a period. The spirit made me lose contact with my own true feelings, and left me with a loss at expressing or even experiencing them. Jezzie saw to having them blotted out with constant feelings of misery and pain. And by making sure I was barely able to function and therefore unable to work, she pulled the noose around my neck even tighter. She convincingly proved to hate this man, beyond a shadow of a doubt.

As I also already alluded to above, Jezebels have a knack for seeking the destruction of their hosts:
In addition to destroying those around her, Jezebel especially hates the prey she is controlling (remember the mission of Jezebel is to kill the prophets: the victim is often herself anointed of God to be prophetic), and will ultimately cause her victim to self-destruct. This is referred to as the “Black Widow spider syndrome” since black widow spiders kill their mates. In the spirit realm, there are two applications: 1. the Jezebel spirit seeks to kill the male authority figures (or prophets) and 2. Perfectionism is a common characteristic of the Jezebel, generating self-hatred in the victim, and a despising of others around her who fail to meet her exaggerated standards. This is part of the “unrealistic expectations” she has toward herself and others, but it is also an excuse for disrespect toward others, especially those in authority since they don’t “measure up” so she doesn’t have to show respect, of course. albatrus.org

Jezebel’s callous disregard for other people is further evidenced by another annoying trait:

A Jezebel will rarely acknowledge another person’s actions, not even for something that turned out to greatly benefit the Jezebel. He just cannot bring himself to say thank you or to acknowledge that someone else did something right. There are those who have gone out of their way to bless a Jezebel by being the catalyst of sending him on a trip or giving a gift. Yet never will there be a thank you. This again puts the controller in a position of power. Steve Sampson (p. 62)
Sampson further reports a closely related Jezebelian trait:
This is characteristic of a controller. He has to be the one who looks good, so he will quickly sharply criticize anyone who makes a suggestion or plan. Even though he likes the plan, he can only criticize it, because the idea did not originate with him. Criticizing others elevates the controller in his own mind. Steve Sampson (p. 62)
Whereas “claiming undue credit”, is self-exaltation, and whereas “denying due credit” amounts to denying others to exalt, unfairly criticizing other people effectively is self-exaltation through “lowering” (in the sense of the opposite to exalting) other people.
Information Gatherers

Gathering information, or, more generally, controlling the flow of information, is another fear-based tool of Jezebelian control.
Ammunition too is another issue. Jezebels are continually collecting ammunition. They acquire information that they can use against you in case they ever begin to lose their grip on power. All what they would have collected they would use against you without mercy.

Steve Sampson is very much on a par with Ryden when he writes:
On many occasions, my friend [of Sampson] would be in conversation with this [Jezebelian] woman and catch himself confiding in her and giving her information that was none of her business. This also is typical of a Jezebel spirit. The person seems to have a power that makes you want to offer information. This is the work of a Jezebel spirit, namely to extract information it can later use as ammunition against you if your relationship ever ceases.[…]When a Jezebel loses control, love and devotion turn into hate and destruction. The love and loyalty were expressed with an evil and twisted motive for power and gain. Steve Sampson (p. 32-33)
It should be made clear that since Jezebelian “love and loyalty” is an instrument for power and gain, it is understood that they cannot be regarded as being genuine and sincere.
A Jezebel loves to be in control of information. If there is ever a situation where information is important, he will push to be the “first” to know it. He seems to know everything about everyone. Where he gets all his information is beyond comprehension, but he can dictate to you data and details about people’s lives and actions in mass quantities. Steve Sampson (p. 65)
Jezebel wants to extract information so as to be able to have a handle of control over people. Jonas Clark explains:
While your strong points are like walls of resistance, Jezebel views your weak points as gateways of control. Jezebel will probe your soul looking for an emotional weakness to open a door of hurt and pain that needs to stay shut. Those doors to your soul can be emotional hurts and wounds. I have heard the spirit of Jezebel ask this question many times, “Is everything all right?” It sounds so innocent on the surface, doesn’t it? But she wants to know what upsets or emotionally disturbs you. Don’t tell her. Jezebel feeds on information. That is what she is probing for. Jonas Clark
It should not be hard to fathom that the current push for an Orwellian world government, in which the information flow will “ideally” be fully controlled, is very Jezebelian indeed. It is precisely the mindset of such debilitating collective fear that catalyzes such dreadful developments in which basic human rights will become a thing of yesteryear.
Sower of Confusion and Insecurity

In the artificially created Jezebelian atmosphere of fear automatically comes ample confusion and insecurity. Fear stops a thinking mind, it shuts it down, causing people to make whimsical decisions without critical reflection and time to think things through.
As a result, an atmosphere is created in which the critical thinking filter, i.e. the conscious mental faculty which questions and critically evaluates, is compromised or perhaps even bypassed altogether. It is under these dazzling circumstances that it becomes more likely for the demonic to succeed in usurping the will of their hosts. If there are possessed people in the vicinity of a Jezebelian personality then they will, with hands in their hair, more easily surrender their control (over their own being) to the Jezebelian character “in charge.”
Therefore, to a Jezebel, sowing confusion and insecurity is a very helpful strategy in keeping everybody distracted yet able to be manipulated. As such she continues to escape detection and may carry on with her own secret diabolical agenda with impunity:

In addition to fear and intimidation, Jezebel creates and flows well in atmospheres of confusion. Spiritual territories where Jezebel is ruling release strong confusion that seems to just be “in the spiritual climate.” Some confusion is the direct result of natural circumstances, but Jezebel releases a spiritual confusion called witchcraft. This strong confusion will cause people to forget from one week to the next what they are supposed to do. Jonas Clark
Jezebel continually challenges the effectiveness of God’s Word in your life in order to keep you emotionally frustrated. Are you distraught or unnerved right now? Have you ever felt exasperated? Jezebel is always distressing her eunuchs, wearing them down and pulling them out of faith. She says things like, “The Holy Spirit didn’t really say that to you. That’s not what He really meant. God really doesn’t want you to do that. God’s power can’t really flow through your hands. God can’t really flow through your hands. Besides politics and the Church, Jezebels also like to “dabble” in the godless and immoral areas of birth-control, witchcraft, television and movies.
In America today, Jezebel is the arrogant, angry spirit behind abortion, crying out “It’s MY choice! Jezebel is the reason so many homosexuals are drawn to the entertainment industry, desperately seeking recognition and acceptance.
In an attempt to weaken righteous leadership, Jezebel is the force that draws millions of Christian men into hours of television. She is behind the explosion of Internet pornography. Today she is luring men of God into secret lives of bondage and condemnation. Some leaders, once powerful men of prayer, are now too ashamed to even sneak into the throne room. Its influence extends into Hollywood and the TV programs Christians pollute their minds with, into the United Nations, and in fact into the whole global political, economical and religious system of the world which is now seeking to unite all people everywhere under the antichrist. It gets into the church as a spirit of ungodly control and seduction which encourages people to “live it up” in the world as long as they are submissive to the church leadership and don’t move in the Holy Spirit. Jezebel’s spirit flows unhindered throughout the entertainment industries. This spirit flaunts itself in the world of fashion; it holds degrees in the philosophical departments of our schools and colleges. Where can you go in our society that the influence of the Jezebel spirit is not felt? She is the destroyer of politician and preacher alike. She is the cruel motivator behind abortion.
